Who are you? I am Melle, mummy of two little people, wife of Marco, daughter of the best parents in the world and sister to three amazing people.  I am also a billion other things!   

Favourite book you've ever read? Without a doubt it would be "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee.  It is moving, funny and I just related so much to the characters.  I'm not surprised Harper Lee chose to not write another novel after this.  How could you better perfection? 

Favourite movie? It is an oldie but a great one: Dead Poets Society starring Robin Williams.  I also am a huge fan of another of his movies : The Fisher King 

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world who would it be and what would you ask them? I would have dinner with John Mayer and I would probably ask him does he mind that I have a husband?  

Coffee or tea? Coffee!  Although I do enjoy a nice Rooibos Tea, I am a confirmed coffee addict.  Not instant coffee either.  It has to be a freshly brewed Espresso. 

Who is your hero and why? My hero is JK Rowling.  I admire her for her ability to overcome the percieved impossible and her fabulous mind.  I would be a jittering, bumbling mess if I ever got to meet her!  

When you were a little kid, what did you want to be? I wanted to be a hairdresser! 

What can't you live without? Coffee...and Facebook. 

Your idea of the perfect day? A day out on the boat with my husband and my kids, just cruising around and relaxing. 

Whose portrait would you like to take? I would like to take my Mum's portrait so she could see how beautiful she really is. 

Which country would you most like to visit and why? Ireland!  I have his fascination regarding Ireland.  I love reading books about it.  I gave my kids Irish names.  I love it for it's culture, history and it's beauty.  

What's in your handbag right now? Way too much!!! 

Best piece of advice you offer me? Floss your teeth.  Everyday. 

Which character in a movie would you most like to play?  Anyone opposite Johnny Depp.  Even if it was a tree. 

Favourite pizza topping? Bacon, tomato, baby spinach, mushroom and olives (with ridiculous amounts of mozzarella, tasty and parmesan cheese) 

Sweet or savoury? Savoury.  

Best thing about being you? I have a great sense of humour. 

Worst habit? I do massive twitches just before I fall asleep, doesn't bother me but usually scares the life out of my poor husband! 

Canon or Nikon? I'm a Nikon girl.  But really, I don't think it matters.  I started out with Nikon way back when and it's what I like.  It really is a personal preference. 

Why are you a photographer? I do it because I like to make people feel beautiful.  I know what makes people look good and it gives me a kick to see them so happy when they see a good photo of themselves.
